San Diego

My Mom went to San Diego with her sisters and Aunt Carla. So I took Alyssa down to join them for lunch. We went to Farmer's Market and took a walk on the beach.

Valentine's Day

So Valentine's Day is just like every other holiday when you have kids. Michael and I exchanged gifts that were not romantic but great to use with Lyssa. We decorated cookies and she had so much fun with the frosting and sprinkles. She loves sugar! We didn't get pictures because we were using the video camera.

Hiking

We took the family out to "The Devil's Punchbowl" for a hike. We thought since it was only a mile it would be no problem.
Poor Daddy had Alyssa in the baby backpack and it was a steep trail. Somehow we lost the trail and we were crawling through the bushes trying to get back to the trail. Alyssa loves to be outdoors so she was smiling and laughing the entire time.

Teeth

Alyssa's first tooth came in on Feb 10th and the second on Feb 11th. You may be able to see them in this picture. We were playing peek-a-boo, her favorite game, when we took the picture.

Birthday Party

We went to one of Alyssa's friends birthday party. She had fun playing with all of the kids but you can tell how much she wants to walk or crawl.

We're Home!

After a week and a half Alyssa was happy to be home. She was so excited to see her Daddy (and the dogs).

Baking?

This is what happens when you bake with Grandma!

Hangin' Out With Grandma and Pi

Bath Time

Alyssa has so much fun in the bathtub. She talks, sings and squeels while bathing.

Her Daddy went out to buy her new bath toys for her when she turned six months. She usually has ten to fifteen toys in the tub with her but she seems to like this little cup best. She drums on it and like everything else sucks on it.

Alyssa has a healthy appetite she started eating veggies and now is getting some fruit but her favorite food is crackers she loves being able to feed herself. Last night she had crackers in both hands and she went back and forth trying one and then the other. I love being able to stay at home with her and watch her grow up, we are so blessed.

I can't seem to feed her fast enough so she grabs the spoon and tries to feed herself.

Snow!

It snowed during the Superbowl and Eric, Alyssa's cousin, wanted to go play in it. So we took them out for a minute. It was cold!

Alyssa loved it.

This is a picture of her when we came in from the snow. She had a blast.

Superbowl

Alyssa and I are in Utah while our car gets fixed so we were able to watch the game with the family.
