Sparklers!

Well it is October and Alyssa finally fits into her cute summer dress (almost). Last week I took her to get her ears pierced, that was so tough on me. I felt like a mean mom for an hour or so but they didn't seem to bother her after the initial ten minutes. They look so cute, if you look closely you can see the little pink sparkler in her right ear.

Mommy's Princess

Alyssa is getting used to playing dress up now so it is easier to get cute pictures of her. Next week she will be two months unfortunately she has to go in for shots.

Daddy's Girl

Alyssa usually enjoys watching football with Dad but she was a bit unhappy for the first Cowboy game of the season. Her football pj's look cute though.

Growing up!

Alyssa is growing up fast and getting so big. This weekend she found her voice it was so exciting. She is also smiling at us when we play with her. This week we had a spur of the moment girls weekend with her Grandma Thomas and ran down to San Diego. There isn't much to do in our home town so we decided to get away. She was a trooper! She slept the whole way in the car and was fantastic while we went from store to store. We have to get her trained early to shop with us.

Bathtime

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this mother thing. I was able to give Alyssa a bath and dress her without her crying, or should I say screaming. She looked so cute after her bath I had to take a couple of pictures.

Summer is over for us, Michael had to go back to work today. Alyssa and I got dressed p to go to the store and a few other places. What a chore! Alyssa does really well in the car and we've been out before but to try to get things done in a certain amount of time is difficult. I don't know how people work and raise kids.

Matthew keeps on "bugging" us for another picture so here it is. We had just finished bathing her and dressing her up so we grabbed the camera and snapped a picture of her.

Doesn't she look cute in her outfit? She seems to like it as well because evertime we dress her in it she "poops" all over it. Ten minutes later it's a stinky yellow mess. Thanks Nicole for the dishsoap tip! Alyssa makes sure we use it often.
